Make sure you locate your barcode in an acceptable location on your product. The preference is for the lower left side of the item’s natural design base, then the lower left back of the item. Print the barcode, including the light margin area, clear from any edge, overlap, crease or tight curve by at least 5mm. This reduces potential scanning problems caused by package damage or distortion.
